Description

NGC 536 (UGC 1013, PGC 5344, HCG 10a and others) is the AGN spiral at the center of the image. It is located approximately 210.6 million light-years away in Andromeda.NGC 531 (UGC 1012, PGC 5340, HCG 10c and others) is the odd spiral above NGC 536 located at a similar distance.NGC 529 (UGC 995, PGC 5299, HCG 10b and others) is the E/S0 (lenticular / intermediate spiral) to the right (west) of NGC 536. It located approximately 171 million light-years away.NGC 542 (PGC 5360, HCG 10d and others) is the somewhat edge-on spiral below NGC 536.Collectively, these make up Hickson Compact Group 10 (HCG 10)

The bright star to the right of the large galaxy (HD 8673) has a confirmed exoplanet – HD 8673b - http://exoplanet.eu/catalog/hd_8673_a_b/

Been awhile since I have had enough clear weather to shoot much.  Decided on trying something a bit different, this HCG 10, aka Hickson 10.  Not a whole lot of pictures of it out there but is basically made up of four NGC galaxies.
